“the Lebedyan Teacher Training College”.

This Educational Institution  was founded as a result of the transference of Novo-Vilejskaya seminary in Lebedyan of  Tambov province in 1918. Teacher’s seminary was  reorganized into three-year pedagogical courses in accordance with  the order of the  People’s Commissariat of Education  of the RSFSR of 10.07.1919 № 26. Pedagogical courses were converted into Teacher Training Technical Secondary School in accordance with the order  of the People’s  Commissariat of education of the RSFSR of 26.10.1921 № 42. In 1938 it was transformed into a Teacher Training School in accordance with  the People’s Commissariat of Education of the RSFSR of 15.10.1938 № 96.  Then Lebedyan Teacher Training School was transformed into Lebedyan Teacher Training College in accordance with the education Ministry of the RSFSR of 20.10.1993 № 438. The name of this institution  was affirmed as State Educational Institution  of Secondary  Vocational Education Lebedyan Teacher Training College (SEI SVE Lebedyan Teacher Training College) in accordance with the order of the  Department  of Education and Science of the Lipetsk region of  08.08.2003 № 875/1. The name of this Institution was  affirmed as State (Regional)Educational  Institution of Secondary Vocational Education  Lebedyan Teacher Training College (S(R)EI SVE Lebedyan Teacher Training College) in accordance with the order of  the Department of Education and Science  of the Lipetsk region of 17.04.2008 № 311.
The Founder of this institution is the Lipetsk Region. The  Department of Education and Science of the Lipetsk Region realizes powers and functions of the founder of this  institution. The educational process is conducted in the state language of the Russian Federation.
